⚡️ Privacy-Focused Photo Storage

Local, encrypted photo storage.

I hosted my photos with Google Photos for a while and then switched over to iCloud earlier this year only to find out that in a few weeks they're implementing a new system called neuralMatch that will scan their users' iCloud photos in search of child pornography.

Obviously, I'm against child pornography and commend their desire to help fight against it. But I never gave you permission to scan my personal photos! This is a clear and blatant invasion of my privacy.

There's a company called [[Company/Monument]] that looked like it could be a possible alternative but it has a few downsides such as no encrypted cloud storage, persistent folder structures or sharing outside of family.

There needs to be an option for storage on your local storage device with optional encrypted cloud storage for backup and sharing.
